Protected characteristics by disability status...
This dataset provides Census 2021 estimates that classify usual residents in England and Wales by disability and other protected characteristics. The estimates are as at Census Day, 21 March 2021. Age-standardisation is used to enable comparisons between different population groups.
[u] denotes "unreliable". This means that the age-standardised or age-specific percentage was deemed unreliable because counts were between 10 and 20. [c] denotes "confidential" and is used as a disclosure control on low counts. [x] denotes "not available", this is due to the count being confidential, preventing the percentage from being calculated. [z] denotes "not applicable". This is used to prevent blank cells being present in the data. When present in the notes column of data sheets, it means that there are no reliability issues for that row. [Low] is used where the counts are such a small proportion of the population, that the percentage rounded to 0, but was not a true 0.
